Dear Tip of the Weeker,

This week is Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven and a huge carnival is set up all along the main street of town.

Festivals are summertime fun for your customers, but can be a pain in the patoot for nearby businesses. Your attitude about your local festival can make it a boost, or a bust.

There you have it - gracious or grumpy, the choice is up to you.  Be a gracious host and customers will come back to see you when the frenzy has passed. Grumpy, not so much!
