Tip #32 - Make A Great First Impression

Your storefront (or front office, or waiting room, or lease line etc.) is your first chance to make a great impression on your customers. Keep it looking in tip-top shape.

WASH YOUR STORE WINDOWS AND SWEEP OR SHOVEL YOUR SIDEWALK EVERY DAY.

Yep, I said every day.

You wouldn’t consider going in to work without combing your hair and brushing your teeth every day, would you? You need to put that same squeaky clean face on your store – your customers see that face before they ever see yours!

How do you get the job done? Put it on your opening and closing checklists!

Tip #24 - Schedule Your Priorities

During the busy summer months it can seem impossible to get everything done. And all too often it’s the most important (but perhaps less urgent) tasks that get ignored. Here’s help.

Instead of prioritizing your schedule...

SCHEDULE YOUR PRIORITIES.

Decide which are the most important things for you to get accomplished and put them on your schedule first. Then fit in the other daily tasks and more mundane chores.

Not enough time to get it all done? Delegate. But get the important things done first.
