Tip #388 - 12 Days of Christmas, On Video!
OK, everybody... this is a fun, easy promotion you can plan today! Just make
a list of twelve items you’re overstocked in, assign each item a date, and
print up 12 sets of signs - one for each days’ sale item.
Plan to email your retail customers the "super sale item" on each of the twelve
days. Make it a quick, one paragraph email with a really catchy subject
line. With this promotion you can send emails to your customers for 12 days
in a row without seeming like a pest. In fact, they won't be able to wait
to see what's coming up next!
This year, why not go one better and make a "12 Days of Christmas" campaign
using your video camera. Take short videos of you or your employees talking
about the special sale item of the day. Then you can include the videos in
your emails, on your Facebook fan page, and on your website, too!
It's easy to do... I made a video about the "12 Days of Christmas"
promotion using the camera that's right in my laptop. Or buy yourself an
early present and get the Flip Camcorder. Natalie has one and we borrow
it all the time to shoot video - super easy, great quality, and not too
expensive.

On December 13th (twelve days before Christmas), put a big display table of
your first "super sale item" item by the front door. Stack ‘em high and
watch ‘em fly!
By the 12th Day of Christmas your stockroom will be nice and bare. And your
bank account will be nice and full.
